Vacation: Ski Dubai
This is one of the largest indoor ski resorts in the world. And it is located in Dubai, of all places, where outside average temperatures range from 70-100 degrees Fahrenheit during the year. The facility is 22,500 square meters (size of 3 football fields) and has snow all year round. There are 5 different downhill runs, a freestyle zone, a snow park with a cavern, chairlift, tow lift, and restaurants. Everything is provided from winter clothing to equipment so you don’t have to worry about bringing too much with you.
While you are here you can ski, snowboard, bobsled, go tubing, or go tobogganing. All skill levels are welcome and they have instructors for lessons as well. They even have some private party rooms if you want to take your kids here for a good time! The restaurants sound like they have good food, with the St. Moritz Cafe providing the atmosphere of a ski lodge, complete with a fireplace.
So, this is probably a good place to come if you are already on vacation in Dubai and want to cool down for a bit. Have fun on the slopes!
