Web Site: The Darwin Awards
This site has been around for a long time now. It awards those who have killed or seriously injured themselves by doing something stupid. In their own words, the Darwin Awards “salute the improvement of the human genome by honoring those who accidentally remove themselves from it.” Some of the stories are absolutely hilarious (in a morbid kind of way). There are also a series of books out there “celebrating” these people as well. The site breaks everything down by year for easy reading. It certainly opens your eyes as to how idiotic or unlucky people can be!
