Vacation: Caesars Pocono Resorts
![]()
The Caesars Pocono Resorts is a resort centered around couples located in the Poconos Mountains of Pennsylvania. You basically pay a flat rate depending on how long you are staying and in what type of accommodations and then most of the meals and activities are all-inclusive. My wife and I stayed at “Cove Haven”. This place didn’t look like it had been updated since the 80’s! The decor was very dated, but the rooms and facilities were maintained ok otherwise. Ours had a round bed with a mirrored ceiling, a heart-shaped tub, and a totally transparent shower! There is another type of room here that has a large campaign class right in the middle of the room, which is basically a large bathtub (pictured above)! There is yet another type of room that has no windows, a private indoor heated pool, a dry sauna, and a log burning fireplace. Starting to get a feel for this place? It is basically somewhere to go and have lots of sex! Oh yeah, and there are other activities too, I suppose
They have tennis courts, hot tubs, swimming pools, racquetball courts, game rooms, paddle boating, volleyball, golf, archery, basketball, nightly entertainment (bands, comedians, special events), and more.
The Caesars Pocono Mountain Resorts is basically composed of three resorts. Basically, you stay at one of them, but can use all three. And, they aren’t too far apart. Cove Haven is in Lakeville, Pocono Palace is in East Stroudburg, and Paradise Stream is in Mount Pocono. When I went, it was the wrong time of the year (March). During this time, it was a bit too cold for anything outdoors and was kind of between seasons, so there weren’t that many people around and not a ton of stuff to do. Summer would be a much better time. I have to say though, the food was excellent! They have a “Strip Night”, which to my initial disappointment had nothing to do with naked bodies – it was Strip Steak night. And, boy, was that a good cut of meat!
The surrounding Poconos Mountains also has a lot to offer in the way of hunting, fishing, camping, whitewater rafting, canoeing, hiking, water parks, skiing, and snowmobile trails. The Poconos has over 80% of the state’s resorts which also includes Great Wolf Lodge, Woodloch Pines, and Mount Airy.
The Caesars Pocono Resorts did have a high “cheese” factor, but was still a lot of fun. I’d definitely recommend it if you want to get away with your significant other for a few days!
