Vacation: Atlantis Paradise Island, Bahamas
I first heard about this place a couple of years ago and it sounds like a lot of fun. It is basically a huge resort and water park. There are several different types of accommodations in which you can stay, including the “Bridge suite” if you can fork over $25,000 per night! This is the suite in the arch pictured above that joins the 2 sides of the hotel together. Don’t worry, most of the other accommodations are affordable for “normal” people
They have several attractions including “Aquaventure” (a huge water park including lazy rivers, slides, and rapids), “The Current” (a mile long water ride with waves), Mayan temple water slides, “The Dig” (several aquariums under the Royal Towers lobby which also includes the the world’s largest open air marine habitat), The Marina and Marina Village, the Mandara Spa, Dolphin Cay (14-acre dolphin habitat), and a casino.
Sounds like a great place to relax and have fun in the sun.
